FIELD TRIPS IN AUTUMN

The basic and intermediate class students went to field trips. The students enjoyed visiting Kamakura, Yokohama City Municipal Disaster Prevention Center, Tokyo Motor Show, Festival at Kanto Gakuin University, Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum, Kirin Yokohama Beer Village, Ajinomoto Kawasaki Plant and potato-digging at Kurokawa Farm,

After digging many potatoes, students have enjoyed eating steamed ones. They were so yummy! The farmers were kind enough to give them sweet persimmons.

Yokohama City Municipal Disaster Prevention Center

Students have experienced the same seismic intensity as of the disastrous “Kobe Awaji Earthquake” on January 17th of 1995.

Tokyo Motor Show

Students have seen the cutting-edge technology of automobiles.

Festival at Kanto Gakuin University

Students have experienced Japanese college festival at Kanto Gakuin University. Foods at booths were good. The students even made Japanese friends there and enjoyed the whole day.

Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum

Students have found similarities between Japanese old houses and their countries’ old houses.

Ajinomoto Kawasaki Plant

There were not only Japanese soup stocks made of dried bonito, but also so many soup stocks from all over the world. There sure were those from the students’ own countries.
